Both of my master cylinders have the little windows so clouded I can't see a thing.  I can't clean the cloudiness off.  Is there anything I can do short of changing the whole master cylinder out?

I guess you've had the tops off and drained down enough to access the windows from the inside?

When I got my bike, both my master cylinders were oxidized and ugly, perhaps the outsides of your windows
can be polished up to remove something that's just a surface coating?

CHIEFY....when i had the fluid level down inthe reservoir, i took a Q-TIP and just dipped it in the brake fluid and rubbed it on the inside of the glass window.  it was kinda like the condensation inside the master cylinder (the water that always seems to get in.) had attached itself to the glass.  then i just took a little dab of fine polish, and very lightly rubbed the outside window (and i mean really lightly.).  this worked for me.
