After a 500 mile ride over the weekend, I parked my I/S in the driveway. When I went to move it into the garage last night, I pressed down on the choke lever and heard "Click". Now the lever just floats uo and down. I guess I'll see exactly what broke when I take it apart tonight.

Pinwall has that particular part available.

See them on E-Bay quite a bit.

HDL has the cable seems like it is about 11 bucks. Very easy to replace and until you get your new cable you can use a screwdriver to push the slider on the clutch side forward to work the choke. It'll work both sides. I had to do this for about a week until my cable came in and I got pretty good at it.

Check the local stealer.  They might have one in stock.  If you order it from hdl and your order isn't above $100, you'll get charged shipping AND $7.50 handling.  Which means your new choke cable will cost you over $20.
