Wow!  I just finished with the mod of my piggies!  What a noticeable difference and I'm very happy with the results!

I had just purchased new tires and had the bags/mufflers off and thought it would be best to do it now.  Here in Aurora, IL its 35 degrees w/rain :(

I videoed the before and after and would like to attach the files.
How do I attached the video?

Thanks!

You should probably upload the Video to YouTube to host it and then post the link here......

Cut Piggies are good... not too loud but not too mild.

Mod "Pigges" 2000 Valkyrie Interstate

I have been waiting to hear one with just the piggies cut. Thanks jcrios. I bought the Airflow truck stacks and hope to get them on soon, waiting on my kid to cut the notch in them at his shop. I bought the slash cut and will have to cut the piggies a bit. so they do not show. Now my question is how far did you cut them back that is the one thing i didn't see you say. I think with the stacks mine wil be even deeper. Thank you for the video though. I am also just outside chicago and rde out your way a bit maybe we can meet up for lunch someday.

I did the piggies before I bought truck stacks.  They sounded OK to me, but I was looking for something a bit more, so I drilled the rear baffles when I put the truck stacks on.  Definitely a big difference.  Not too annoying and certainly nothing like Cobras, but you can definitely hear more when you're riding.  I think it's a good compromise.  The only drawback is that if you don't like it, there's no going back.  Wish I was closer to you so you could listen, but RI to Chicago is a bit of a ride on the weekend.
