Does anyone know if they fit  on a Valk without any difficult mods? Are they a Honda part for a GW? Which ones I would need for a '79 standard? TIA!

seen the gold wing engine guards on a valk before,not sure about mods,but I would like to see a 79 standard

that 97 standard was the one where they had front wheels/tires on both ends, as well as handlebars fore and aft. one he$$ of a bike.  you don't need engine guards on a 79 standard......it doesn't know which it's going.
