I’m finally back to the Darkside. Had somewhere around 12,000 miles on dunlops before first going to the darkside with GY TT’s. Wore out two of them, then back to an Avon cobra rear for a few thousand miles. Just wasn’t happy with it so now I’m running a “V” rated general atlimax HP. Rode to work with it for the first time this morning. So far, so good, feels more “bike like” to me than the TT. The tire’s not broken in yet so I haven’t really tested the traction.

The ride is at least as smooth as the TT was. I'm running 37lbs in it right now. If it turns out to have the traction the TT did then I'll be happy with it for sure.

i run that same tire on both of my valks....a v-rated on one, and a h-rated on the other.....when i moved to the darkside on #2 a v-rated wasn't available so thus the h.   after the initial break-in of 38,  i bumped it up to 40...it's been everything i wanted...all got better once broken-in.   you'll like it.

I put the h rated general ultimax. It's on the bike-just haven't rode it yet. 2funny RIDE SAFE.
