Kendon Motorcycle Lift

Does anyone have a Kendon Cruiser Motorcycle stand up lift. If so, how do you like it, Pos.and Negs.

I have a single rail Kendon stand-up. I bought it "barely" used, for $1100 in 03. We have a vacation home in North Carolina and I use it to trailer the Valk up two or three times a year. I have also used it a few times to transport generators and such that are hard for me to load into the bed of my truck by myself.

The trailer tracks well, and I like that it has large wheels instead of the tiny ones I see on some units. The bike loads easily, and the front chock works great to hold the bike steady while getting the straps set.

The best part is that the stand-up feature allows me to store it out of the way indoors in a back corner of my shop. The wheels are not sitting on the ground deforming or rotting, either.

The only downside that I have had is the welds broke where the ramp attaches to the rear, and the flange on the ramp itself deformed somewhat after six or seven years of use. I had a welder fix those areas. Also it takes a bit of effort to pull the front well out of the chock. It helps if the trailer is on a slight incline when unloading.

All in all it is a great trailer and I would recommend it highly.

Sorry, misunderstood your question-I did not know they made lifts as well as trailers.

IMHO, they're fine for smaller bikes, however, I'm pretty sure that I wouldn't want a Valk up on one. If your squeazed on space, then take a hard look at the Kendon, but I wouldn't want to put my Valk on one.   There are alot of other lifts for around the same money that suit the Valk much better.

I said the heck with it and I bought one and it came in. I put the Valk on it and it seems stable. I have a shortage of room in the garage and have to put it away when I am not using it.  It weighs 140lbs rather then 480-500lbs like the flat table lifts so I can stand it up to the wall. Also I felt that with the flat table lift I would be bringing the floor up to me and still could see under the bike. For me with the Kendon I can work underneath with no interference. So far so good.
