Rattlebar's Relocation Kit

I have ordered a Rattlebar relocation kit.
I have floorboards and have read that this lowering kit will cause scraping of the boards.
Does this occur in only very aggressive riding or normal?

I heard that Rattlebar's closed his business and retired. Anyone heard the same thing?

My wife's Tourer has the MC Enterprises floorboards on it.  They scrape WAY sooner than the pegs ever did.  She is usually a very conservative rider and takes it easy on corners and she has managed to scrape her boards a time or two.  I can not stand to ride her bike because I scrape the boards WAY too soon (and I get in trouble when I do).  (No changes to suspension or tires.)

It is your bike...do what you want with it...if it was me...I wouldn't do anything that decreased the lean angle of the bike.  

These are just my thoughts on the matter.

I have the relo kit and rarely scrape the pegs.  Three Sister's FM336 near Leakey and Lime Creek Road near Lake Travis are two places I've managed to do a little "sharpening".

FYI, I thought Rattlebars closed their doors, too.
