First you have to go to the Mid Winter Blah Ride in Austin and pass a VERY LARGE TIME!  :uglystupid2:

Then you have to be riding home and hit a bump near Cut and Shoot, Texas and have the bracket that held everything on shear in half and then you have to drag them for a quarter mile until you can stop wondering, WHAT THE HELL IS THAT NOISE!  :tickedoff:

Yes, that was me that Hotglue talked about with chit falling off the Valkyrie when we were following his Harley!  :2funny: :2funny:

Now, I KNOW I took a picture of the quad set up in my saddlebag - I think Big BF came to my house while I was in Africa and deleted the picture from my memory card....I can't proove it, but I bet that is what happened.  :tickedoff:

Then you take it apart and find two working horns and remount them under the swingarm.

That is how you turn a set of Quads into Twins!  :D :D :D

Bro - no worries!!!!!  Chit happens.  The bracket just broke in half where the hole was at that mounted it to the bolt under the swingarm.  You gotta remember which state I live in....probably get more vibration because of our BAD ROADS here than anywhere in the nation!  ;D

I still have the twin - and is still loud enough to get attention.  It sure wasn't a post about the product, because - I guess next to air horns, your set up is better than anything on the market - hands down!!!!!!  I loved my horns and still love the ones that made it!

I just figure out what the noise was!!!!  I thought, Man, that ain't a front seal blown - what the heck is that noise????  Another good thing is the length of wire you used.  When it came loose, it didn't go under the rear wheel.  It drug right under the swingarm.

Brother - I LOVE YOUR HORNS and they are TOP NOTCH IN ALL WAYS!!!!  Like I said, three years of Louisiana roads will give anything metal fatigue!  :cooldude: :cooldude: :cooldude:

Hey Big BF. The same thing happened to me when I hit a bump recently. The whole quad assembly fell off and I ran over it with my back tire leaving a couple of long wires dangling. I stopped and picked the mangled mass off the road but there was nothing worth salvaging. I plan to have you put another set on my bike the next time I see you. But this time I'm requesting some Lok Tite be used. I had about 20,000 miles on my first set so...no complaints.
