Well, if it makes you feel any better, it was sort of windy on the way home, a little, I guess.."

Don't worry about it Mike, I get it from the New York/Minn. crowd all the time.  I TRY not to rub it in, but it is really hard sometimes.  :)

P.S.  I rode to work on Monday, but had to visit customers the past 2 days, so I drove the big white 4X4 Dodge Megacab...  ;)

It was like riding to work in Florida today. Clear and a balmy 25 degrees.  :D :D

Heat wave in Kansas, 34 this moring with 48 later today.

I think 34- 35 is my personal "low" temp setting. I can ride all day at that temp with my gear and be "comfortable". Not too cold and just the Gerbings gloves running.

Hey ya'll, have a good weekend.

Raymond

I'm in! Yesterday was a day off so it's 1 for 1 this week. It may just be spring...56 is forecast for tomorrow.

Raymond

Willow

I rode.  The signs were displaying 23 - 28 on the way in, but it's predicted to reach 42 before the day is done.

Karen

38 going in, about the same coming home, rain for tomorrow, but the rest of the week looks good!

franco6

lots of rain in houston yesterday, put on my motoboss suit ,it was fine ! :2funny:
does any one else like to ride in the rain?  :cooldude:
Enjoy the ride!

I almost rode today, but I passed because they are calling for snow showers today.  No real accumulation, but still, it could get a little slick.  Another big problem around here, beside all the crap on the roads, is that we have so much snow on the ground and during the day the temps rise and the snow melts...running all kinds of water across the roads.  Then at night it freezes, creating alot of icy spots.  It has been getting better, but still you have to be careful.  But it is warming up more and more each day...so maybe I'll ride tomorrow.  :cooldude:

In summer when it's about 88 degrees and the sun is shining I don't mind the rain.  :D But if you ride much you're gonna get wet sometime so it comes with the ride.

I had a good ride in this morning, around 35 or so.

franco6, I was imitating a jet ski too on monday. The rest of the week looks good. Rain, sleet and snow, the ole girl didn't care.....she loves to lead the way   ;)   for every day you miss you'll never make up  :uglystupid2:  I'm just say'n

I actually braved the cold and crappy roads and took the Valk to work today.  Weather man said it was about 20 degrees or so when I left the house at 7am but heading into the upper 30s this afternoon.  A couple places were pretty sketchy with ice from the melting snow running across the road.  But I had no problems...just real careful.  I sure wish my Gerbings would get here.  They are on back-order.   :-\

You're gonna love those new Gerbings if you ever get them. Does that make you feel warmer?

It was colder today at 29 but clear. I gave the Interstate it's spring wash last night. It looks much better clean and shiny once again.

Raymond

I rode.  Displays showed 22 - 28.  Crossing Lawrence I stopped at a light and had a short (and pleasant) exchange with a rider on a Harley Sportster.  He wanted to know if it was cold enough.  I didn't see any other Valkyries.

It should be significantly warmer on the way home.   :)

Karen

Left for work after the snow stopped, the ride home was 40 & glorious.  I think spring may be at least breathing hard.

Bob E.

I rode to work today again.  I rode last Thursday...was off Friday since my hours got cut...and rode today.  So technically, that's 2 in a row!!  WooHooo!!!!!  I'm on a roll!  :cooldude:

Big Rig

Rode in today also...man it has been a loooooong time...about 6 weeks...should be able to get 3 days this week...

WooHoo... :cooldude:

Karen

Today made two in a row, looks like it might be good for all week, hope you all in Oklahoma are staying safe, there were pictures of tornadoes in the news tonight. No heated gear, and I was too warm in my 3 season jacket. Feels really good taking the long way to & from!

HayHauler

I seem to get flamed when I tell how much I have been riding, so I won't say.  Let's just say that yesterday I didn't ride because of the 80% chance of rain...  :(

You must have those slow southern trees down there, lots of buds on trees up here in North North Texas.

35 this morning coming in.....

I rode to work today...cloudy and chance of rain, but 60* F.  Can't beat that.  Unfortunately, when I went home at lunch time, I had to leave it and take the Jeep.  I have to pick up the kids after work. because my wife has an appointment.  I could have ridden yesterday, but I didn't because I had my bowling league last night...and it can be a pain to strap the bowling bag on the rear seat.  I've done it several times, but when the road conditions are sketchy and the temps are not that comfortable, it's just not worth the hassle.

Valkyrie is smiling in the parking lot because she got to play today

I've ridden to work speedo-less every day for the past few weeks. I've been busy and haven't had time to post anything, but it happened.  Still trying to fix the speedo.
I've picked up extra hours at work trying to make more money but I'm not sure if it is worth it most days. I haven't found a routine yet.
