If you are in the neighbor hood as you go down I-40, you should stop in Vega TX at the Boot Hill Saloon and Grill.  I had the best beef ribs ever in my life. The waitresses dress in saloon girl outfits and the waiters dress in cowboy gear. 4 of us went there last night and nobody had complained about the food.  We all had something different.  Fries were done to perfection and lightly seasoned, not rolled in salt.
Great night for a ride, meal, and good company!  90 mile dinner run!
On a side note.
One of the Ultra Classic riders lost his rear running lights.  His bike took the mini-spade fuses.  I had just put together a kit for my bike and it inclued both sizes of spade fuses. Glad I had it. For the record, he had mostly 15 amp fuses and one 10 amp. Next time I am in Wally world I am picking up a box of each size in 15 amp.
Valkyrie to the rescue!  (now it is Valk related)

Good info on the eats.

I like the "Saloon Girl outfits" thing, pictures?
Remember, if you are on a bike and wreck with a car no matter how "in the right" you are you are going to lose. RIDE LIKE EVERBODY IS OUT TO GET YOU!!
