I just found this board after owning my Valk for several years.  Mine's a 98 standard with 4 inch truck stacks, trigger wheel, K&N and a mustang seat.  It's my only transportation and it has taken my wife and I all over California, Arizona, Oregon and Hawaii.  I wanted one of these bikes from the moment I saw the commercial with the guy powersliding across a dry lake bed.

Below she's all packed for a camping trip up north and one at the Grand Canyon.

Se ya on the road,

Scott

Cool, check out the SoCal board, they do rides every month.  They have an awesome one planned for the 21st up to the Sequoias thru Kernville.  DYING to go but currently in training for my marathon in San Diego.  Sigh.
