Thoughts on these pegs?

I need some distance riding pegs for my Valk, and I would like your opinions.

Backstory - I have a set of Kury Dually pegs that attached to my Lindby bars on my old bike, and I liked them, but I plan on selling them with the old bike because they are not a direct bolt over.

That said, this is a whole different beast, so what worked there might not be the best bet here.

I'm looking at these pegs/mounts.

They mount up to the engine guard and appear to extend back and end in the Dually pegs I'm used to.

Would these be a good option for someone who has somewhat short legs (30" inseam), or is there something else I should be looking for, either for quality/value reasons or because I'm short?

Thank you all.

No, you're too short, like I am. Use the Duallies that mount to the curved brace bar below the engine.
With those pegs, you may not be able to reach them and your legs will be stretched to and uncomfortable position. The clamp is 1 inch, will work on Standard, Tourer or Interstate.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

Take a look at the FX6 website for the floorboard configuration. He is one of our sponsors. I also have a 30" inseam and love this configuration. I just finished a 4500 mile ride, where I had unlimited positions for my legs.

They also work well as the engine guard which I had to use last summer.

I too have a 30" inseam and I switched from Kury's to Mick O'Pegs.....work very well for "ME"....might be worth a look for you as well....

Hurm, I have 1" Kury P clamps, and I tried bolting the Dually's on, but they looked funky.  Any chance you'd be willing to grab a couple of pics so I can see how you mounted?  I just can't quite make out the angles on those vs the other stuff that is chrome in your pic.

Is there a different part number that you know of if this is a set, or did you mean 1" tube clamps or 1" bars that attached to clamps?  Just want to make sure we're talking the same language.

FWIW- I have a standard.

Thank you for your reply.

+1.  Best highway pegs I have ever had.

People are more passionately opposed to wearing fur than leather because it's safer to harass rich women than bikers.

I have the same footpegs with a 29" inseam. You can see in the pic where mine are mounted,  about halfway up the outer curve on the engine guard. Works fine for me and my legs aren't stretched out straight either.

Here you go LIL. They are identical in mounting and location on the Tourer and I/S.

Dear John
30 beats 29 every time, I can't reach these pegs from your mounting location. LOL
Must be your beautiful saddle.

Ok, so I am missing a piece.  I have the 'P' clamp and the peg, but I don't have the arm that goes up.  That's why they didn't fit right.  Just need to find that part now.

I have the same Kurys and in the same place red diamond has his... also a 30" inseam and the are fabulous as far as I'm concerned.  Also have the Kury regular driver pegs... When i get a chance, I'll put some pics of them up but on Vacation for a week away from the bike.

Ride fast and take chances... uh, I mean... ride safe folks.

I think there is only one model that fits the Valkyrie...the "CC".....if in doubt, give Jim Mick a call and he can help you out....nice guy and good to deal with.....

The 4500 Kuryakyn will work fine.

The 4050 Kuryakyn has stronger mounts. But for IS, the scoops need cut to mount at the proper location.

I have 29.5 inseam, and either are an easy reach with proper mount.
