Happened to me on a 1200 Goldwing. One spark plug was submerged :)
The boot on the plug wire end didn't seal close enough to the head surface.

Check lowside plugs and maybe highside for water staying
in around  plugs. After engine heatsup water will evaporate.

Also check the vent tube that hangs under the bike (part of the Dragon Drool tube trio)...  Sometimes that sucks up water, and makes the beast run crappy.  I've read where others have shortened the tube, and had good luck.

I believe there is a drain hole in the spark pulg wells to allow any accumulated water to drain out.  Check and make sure none are plugged.  I suppose you could do this by pulling the spark plug boots and pouring water into each and making sure it drains out.

I have not found a drain hole in the spark plug cup, but I did seal the rubber with silly-cone :2funny:

theres drain holes there you just need to look for them instead of taking the easy way out and making a mess with silicone  look under the head you'll see a little hole leading up into each spark plug cavaty

Yep, here's the hole...  I was scratching my head about this hole back in 2003, back in the "old days"  :)

Had  1200 Wing for 15 years.... After almost stalling out  on the Highway in a heavy rain, I learned about the weep holes.... After that, I had a piece of wire in the saddle bag tool kit that would go through them to clean them out and became yearly maint.
