Just found out from my wife this evening that the oldest daughter is going in for surgery on Friday if I don't go to Africa before and I just got an email that with the visa thing, I think they will get me back to Africa on Saturday.

Just got the Africa email a few minutes ago.  Well, that blows me leaving out on Thursday to get up there for the ride.

I have a room in my name at Ground Zero.  Joe/Don can take over control of that room - double (smoking and upstairs? I think).  Joe, whoever can use it, just change my name over to theirs, since it was an honor system without a credit card needed to hold it.

Everyone pass a large time up there....Sorry, I know it's short notice - as was the email about my LOI to get my visa for my return to bawannaland.  Sorry........Sure wish I could have made it....but...alas....CRAP.

Actually, it would have been hard to ride anyway (but I dang sure was going to do it) since my left side of my face hasn't come back to life (what was funny - isn't anymore - the left side doesn't even wrinkle anymore and no feeling in my left ear) after my surgery 3 weeks ago on my neck and my left eye doesn't always blink very well and I am having some bad tearing in that eye.  Was going to ride with it anyway - even if I had to use sunglass goggles.

Sorry again folks......Can't leave my daughter unless it is having to leave to Africa (which might be the next day anyway)....SURE WISH I COULD BE LEAVING OUT ON THURSDAY - for sure and for certain.

The hits just keep coming!  Sorry to hear about your delayed recovery --- and Kendall & I will be sure to keep your daughter in our prayers.

Missed you in Tucumcari -- but certainly looking forward to the next time we get the chance to share some wind & stories.

If any one needs a place, I still have a cabin 1 mile from GZ.  It has 2 double beds.
