2007- rented a 07 Road-glide in SanDiego. I rode the desert, mount Laguna and the coast from South of Camp Pendleton to SanDiego. She Vapor Locked but started after 1/2 hour cool-down

2011- rented 2010 streetglide in StPete FL. Ran horrible in the heat but never locked.

2011- rented Ultra Classic in Hillsboro OR. Ran 6 thru Tillimook Forest, up the coast to WA, 4 along the Columbia River and back. Caught rush hour traffic and she locked a few miles from the dealer when I stopped to make a call. I don't think it has restarted yet.

The BIG RED GIRL in my garage IS SAFE.  She will not be traded on an HD anytime soon! :coolsmiley: just saying...

My fault really ... I rode 'em hard, like I ride my Valk.  :roll:

About 5 years ago I rented a Fat Boy in San Diego same thing every time we stoped to take a picture the HD would take a while before it would start my friends old Yamaha would be 1/4 mile down the road waiting for me. Too bad that I couldn't rent a Valk.
