I bid on a used set of Baker Wings on ebay yesterday that came off a '98 Valk Tourer and won the bid.  I will have to replace some of the hardware that is mismatched and want to replace the clear panels with stainless when I find out who makes them.  Saved quite a bit but still expensive.  I hope they work as well as everyone claims!

Matt only has the covers for the Interstate right now.

I only use the larger lower Air Wing panels on my Tourer because the upper ones get in a fight with my fairing.

Are the lower panels on Interstate Air Wings and the lower panels on Tourer/STD Air Wings the same?

The Interstate is more side by side than over and under but yes the large panel is the same on both just not the smaller one.

I think they work very well.

I also think they look like monkey ass.

I had some, and couldn't stand how bad they junked up the look of my standard.

But... opinions and sphincters... you know.

I kind of agree (well, maybe not monkey butt) but mostly I remember being out when it was colder
and wetter than I expected, and folding the wings closed, and feeling my shins warm up.

I remember the same day holding the tops of my boots to the bottoms of my valve covers till
my toes warmed up. When I got home I noticed my boots didn't appreciate that very much...  :)

Haha I was watching that same set, though I bid far less... was hoping to steal them ;)

Dubsvalk

I didn't steal them but saved about $100.00 just the same.  Figure I can add the stainless covers later and have in there for about what a new set with plexiglass covers cost.  Oh well, can't go back now.  I'm looking forward to cool air this summer and closing the air flow down this winter!  Joe, thanks for letting me know where to get stainless.

Funny, I was looking at the same set... I'll probably get some eventually... here's a set of the panels for ya.  I seem to remember one of the ones you got being a bit scuffed.

Hey Joe, The number is correct!  He lives in Farragut.  Moved up here and kept his local phone number because of all the communication he had to have with Femma after the hurricane.  I am going to visit his place week after next.

I've met him a couple times he rode a Kawasaki Vulcan 1500 first time we met. He's got a Standard Valkyrie now and made some pretty cool lookin' racks for it. After you said he moved up here I remembered him. I've got his busineess card in the garage .

They do work very well. Mine help on hot days and cool nights. You can have it both ways with the wings.
