Corbin Seat adjustment

This may be a stupid question (ok, there are no stupid questions, only stupid people) but does anyone know how and if you can adjust the Corbin seat with the backrests?  The Corbin website says you can adjust the backrests and there is a screw that you can remove in the back but the dang backrests doesn't move at all.  Not one millimeter. 

I don't HAVE to adjust it but it would be nice if I could.  Thanks.  Steve

I had one. It will adjust but it's a real PIA. I had to take the rest off, put the stem in my bench vise, then apply pressure in the direction you want to adjust to. I ended up throwing the backrest on a shelf until I sold the whole set.
