Update on my request, I no longer need that item, anybody else taken the top off a carb and found this?  I even have some spares, and I fixed it!  Thanks for finding the diaphram though.   :cooldude:  Hoser

hoser....yes i've found it, and then i changed them all over to the interstate variety.

yep, seen it before.

You must be twisting the throttle way too hard.... ;D

Metal fatigue is the only explanation.  Someone may have kinked it a bit during re-install and it failed at that point.  A bit cheaper fix.

As far as the diaphrams, I'm glad I picked up a spare set of carbs quite a few years ago.  Paid what 2 diaphragms now cost for everything, $150.

I had IS springs in it, too many power shifts at redline, I assume.  Very happy to get out of it for cheap.  In fact I think it's time for my happy dance.   :D  Hoser

Hoser,
Is that the cause of your problems? If that's it, and you didn't tare into those carbs yet, I'd for sure be doing the happy dance :cooldude:
It should run like a scalded dog now, I'm sure those carbs are cleaner with the cocktails you've run through them.
