How is Route 58 for a ride? From there to Front Royal Va...BRP-Skyline...all in one day? Any thoughts?

Route 58 is OK but that part is mostly 4 lane.

Scenic enough but not much fun.

It also detours through Danville and Martinsville which is going out of your way.

Roanoke, VA to Front Royal, VA via the BRP and the Skyline Dr is a pretty good days ride in itself.
