The Anvil

...went on it today. There were over 300 registered bikes for a good cause.

Left from my home town of Derry, went out to the coast through Exeter way and stopped at Seacoast H-D (the adjacent parking lot is where the pic below was taken) then we rode up the NH coast and back to Derry through back roads. The cops who did the escort were great. Those guys do a very dangerous job seeing all of us through safely and together and I didn't see enough people thanking them, but I bailed oon the last ten minutes of the ride because I had stuff to do at home. Hopefully they got some props at the after party.

They ostracized me!!! Harley Scum!  ;)

Boxer rebellion, the Holy Child. They all pay their rent.
But none together can testify to the rhythm of a road well bent.
Saddles and zip codes, passports and gates, the Jones' keep.
In August the water is trickling, in April it's furious deep.

1997 Valk Standard, Red and White.

Looks like some SPort Bikes and a few Kawasakis were behind your good looking bike.

Did they get the same treatment?

Most Harley riders I know respect the Valk.

I said most ,,,,,,not all.

So you were just having some fun on the ostricize thing right?

Oh yeah, I parked like that so I could get out if I needed to. I also expected it to fill up more to my side but they parked back instead. Then I looked later and thought; "kinda looks like I don't wanna be associated with the rest of them."  :2funny:

Most everyone was cool. There were at least two more Valks there (both black), one of which belongs to a guy I know named Rich. The other one's a guy I see locally all the time but haven't met yet. There was a healthy mix too. It was mostly H-D but there was even a sportbike club there.
