Wayne, that's fantastic....81 years young, couldn't have happened to a finer gentleman. This reminds me of a fella at Wings Over the Smokies a number of years back, he won the oldest rider award at 84. I hope to still be riding when I hit my 80's, have to wait at least another 8+ yrs.

I went for a drive on the rig. Very windy but 78 degrees. I visited a few small out of the way towns and stayed off the highways. A great way to spend my birthday. Not many miles but relaxing.

Mark is taking me out to dinner tonight. i didn't want the family to make it a big deal but he insisted.

Here is the town of Hoagland, 'bout the most that I can find interesting in these here flatlands.

Doug, I took the Valk rig today because it's more stable in the wind. I need to take the time to get all the crud off the Nighthawk's chain and sprockets so i can reoil it right. The chain was 'way overoiled.
BTW, I went through Hoagland about 2pm.
