Tank/airbox off....where does this hose go???

I am in the middle of replacing the air cleaner and some vacuum hoses. It looks like 3 hoses go into the airbox and 3 go into the tank. They are all accounted for but there is 1 hose that I am confused about. Its a medium size hose the comes off a tee between #3 and #5 carbs. Its about 7" long and has a slight bend in the end. There wasnt a clamp on it. I cant find a place for it. What am I missing here?
The pics in the manual are so dark, they are no help.

It is a vent hose and the bent end should go to a hole either in the front or rear metal cross piece. If you look at desmog in shop talk there is a photo.
