Do you have any money left from the 50/50 drawing?  How did you deal with the heat ones you got back to TX? It was a shock for me. I can live up north like in CO all summer.

Most motorcycle problems are caused by the nut that connects the handlebars to the saddle.

Deb was able to return with a little cash, however she has her mortgage to pay. We had so many cool days to ride in that I was chilled most mornings. We left Colorado Springs at 7:am cdt and mad my underarmor top on until Raton. A cloud cover and spotty rain helped most of the way to Lubbock. The last hour was really HOT! We treated ourselves to a suite at the Holiday Inn (reward points)Left Lubbock at 6:00 am home by 12:45

Glad to hear you made it home safely. I was in Taylor today eating BBQ at Louie Muellers, no A/C and 106 outside, probably 110 inside, felt like 130. My wife like the heat, but the Q made it better.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

Louie Muellers is one of the best. The next time you come up (hopefully it will be cooler) Let me know and we'll meet up, Pat

Saw his place on Diners,Drive-ins, and Dives the other night. We're gonna make a road trip to Taylor but not until the heat cools off some. :cooldude:
