I am trying to insert photos but instead of getting the box with the "X", the return is "". As a result, I am unable to post photos with my messages.

Any advise would be helpful.

Thanks,
Jim

Where do you have them stored?   On your computer or somewhere in cyber land?

IF, they are in cyber land, display the picture and then right click on it.    A drop down will pop up.  On the very bottom is properties.   Press it and copy the URL that appears, go back to your message and click on the box above that looks like a picture.

It is the 1st one in the 2nd row.

When you see the ['s and img's] drop that copied link in between the center ](link go here)['s.

Like so.

1st)...you need a program to resize your photos...I like to use Picasa2 from Google...its Free...and easy to use just Google it and download it to your computer there is more space in it then you will ever use...once you load your pictures into it...click on photo then click on export you need to resize your pictures to 480 -600 res.anything bigger is to large...you also need to rename your photo do not get fancy simple is good...then click export it will send it to your computers Document (my Pic's)all resized and ready to go....BUT

2) now you need a host program to hold your pictures for the internet (too much computer talk right)anyway I use Photobucket again Google it its FREE...down load it to your computer once you have it click load...scroll down too your your computer then down to my pictures ..click on my pictures find the file with the resized and renamed pictures then click on that open picture and you will see it in the load box on photobucket just load it....

3) almost done...now you have the picture loaded in photobucket...click on the picture scroll down to URL direct link right click and copy...

4) go to the message board... go to post your message...you will see symbol  on the tool bar of a picture...click it and between the brackets paste your picture...click preview and your picture should be there...click post and you are done...
