am planning to relocate to a state that requires yearly vehicle inspections, Texas.
My Valk has the complete desmog. Has anybody had an issue passing inspections with a complete desmog?

Mine is fully desmogged and passes AZ emissions no problem.

the desmog system can only be tested to be working on a dyno. it does nothing at idle. if there is a visual inspection and the person knows what to look for, is the only thing u would have to worry about.

Not all of Texas inspects emmissions.  There are 15 counties that do.  If your vehicle is not registered in one of the 15 don't worry about it.  Google Texas emissions for a list of counties.

Motorcycles in Texas are exempt from the testing, even in the 15 counties that require it for automobiles.  http://www.txdps.state.tx.us/vi/inspection/item_insp.asp

Less vacuum lines to leak.
WAY less clutter.

I live in Harris County and it's one of the counties that are the strictist. On a bike it is just basic inspection tires, brakes , horn and lights. No problem getting my desmogged bike inspected.
