I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

But then again, I liked Foghat even before they were Foghat......

I've seen alot of people that thought they were cool , but then again Lord I've seen alot of fools.

thanks for the memories Al and Joe

Saw them in Buffalo maybe it was '76   Loved their music but to be honest they werent that great live that nite but not all great bands are
great every nite

They all were pretty juiced up in those day, as was most of the audience

And as some old feller says  Thats all I gots to say about that    ;)

Seen them in '74 as the headliner, KISS was the opening act.  They (KISS) were on their first tour.

Once in awhile I'll get out all my Foghat and turn up the stereo Real loud.  That's the best way to listen to them.   :cooldude:

Saw Foghat in Philly around 1975-76.  James Gang opened-they were pretty good even without Joe, Then Boston-PHENOMENAL performance, then Foghat came out and blew Boston away!  One of the greatest shows I've ever seen.

I am a HUGE Savoy Brown fan  :cooldude:
I was talking to Kim Simmonds last year in NY. He told me some great stories about Foghat, and how much he loved playing the old clubs in Detroit with Savoy Brown where they first got noticed in the states.
Kim really misses his old friend, Lonesome Dave Prevrett.

But this made them forever famous, even today35 five years later.

My Nephew, a straight A student, which I used to be myself till I found out partying was more fun.

Yes I was as A honor roll student for many years.

I know you really can't tell now.

But this was hot in the seventies and still is in my book.

My nephew at 14 says the old rock is the only good rock.

So greatness never goes out of style.

Lovin Foghat.  Fool for the city.
My ex-wife got in a fender bender with Lonsome Dave in the early 80's when they were in San Diego.
He was pistoff and the handler/manager looked at me like I had two heads when I said I probably shouldnt ask for free tickets.
Aot of guys with burn marks, gnarly scars and funny twitches ask why I spend so much on safety gear
