bent kickstand crossmember

I have bent my kickstand crossmember twice now. First time I pulled it back now its really bent. I know about bigbf repair but am now only working part time as I got laid off and dont have the money.
I want to know if anyone has modified an aftermarket kickstand or one from another bike. I found some that may work and I think a plate could be added to two bolts where muffler attaches to plate with passenger peg.
Any thoughts would be appreciated. Link is to show some of the stands I was thinking about.

I can`t help with your question, but I would like to know how you bent the crossmember. I would like to avoid doing the same damage to my Valk.

Probably one of 2 ways.

Tied it on a trailer with the kickstand DOWN, or ran over something in the road.   Might have even been done with a lift....

Lift on the crankcase only and you won't have this problem.

I bought a new shed and angle of ramp and small lip in door caught a little coming in so I made a longer ramp. The real damage came the first time when I took a left turn and road was banked opposite and bracket scraped which bent the crossmember. To repair I hooked a come along to a tree and pulled it straight. The metal was weakend so the next time I hit a dip in road that caused it to hit. My fault as I was going way to fast on this bumpy road.
Bigbf.com shows pictures of what this looks like. Mine is now bent so bad as I can remove bolts from bracket for stand where as before the swing arm was in the way. Bike wont stay on stand.
I showed pictures from big bf site to a bike shop that does custom fabrication and he said could do it but is to busy with spring maintenance and repair besides I dont have the cash to repair. I had a welding shop that was used by honda dealer to repair frame defects in new wings some time ago say he would repair for a rough estimate of $500.00.
Also I would have to basiclly strip of alot of things so he could lift bike onto bench and lay on side to repair.
Why this has happened is a combination of things Car tire of 55 has lowered bike,Im a large person and even with shocks set all the way to stiff this might be an issue, and I tend to go fast, bracket looks like an after thought built out of hard steel connected to a thin metal tube. From what I can figure out tube serves two purposes hold kickstand and as a spacer when engine is removed to hold frame apart.
Rather than repair tube again I think I would like to modify another type of stand to hold up bike and remove the stand bracket all together. Also when I get my next darkside I am going with 65 for better clearance and lower RPMs

Can you bolt a piece of channel iron to the frame then mount the sidestand mount to that?

The piece referenced thru link above is bolted to the crossmember that is bent. That bracket is hard steel and crossmember is a tube of thin metal that now is twisted bad. If you want to see what this looks like go to bigbf.com and scroll to bottom and click on crossmember repair. I would do the repair shown if I had the money and someone with the time. I have a shop that can do it but they are too busy to do it in the forseeable future.
I am trying to find a way to get by untill money and time is available.
Bolting a piece of angle iron is something I have been thinking as well as adapting another kickstand to frame somehow.

skull6, I have mine up on the lift checking out the neutral switch. I'll take a peek to see what might can be done. Again, I think a c-channel instead of angle iron would be much stonger.
