K&N Prefilter question.

Tropic traveler:
I was told by the K&N folks that running the pre-filter on a K&N makes the air flow about the same as a stock Honda filter. I put the pre-filter they sent me on several months after I got it. Like you I wasn't going to pull the tank just to install the pre-filter. After installing the pre, I did not notice any difference in performance. I did not re-jet. That was 25-30K miles ago. ;)

Runs like a scalded ape and quiet since I just put an Impact Wrench to the Buzz Bolt (Replaced due to I/S Pod install)
