Stock Tourer windshield replacement

My '97 Tourer has 124K miles and the original windshield. It's pretty bad...LOL. Does anyone offer the stock windshield for sale? (windshield only... not the hardware.) Also, how does the stock windshield compare to the Memphis Shades windshields?

I recently replaced my stock windshield with a Clearview.  Very nice product and they do have some seconds for a great price with slight unnoticeable damage such as a small scratch.

Is coated lexan available anywhere? If I could get some I would cut my own windshield.I did that when I bought a 98 shadow aero.I fabricated a mount an got 3/16 lexan.But coated is better.A 4x8' sheet is about $100 uncoated.I would certenly try that before spending $300

Other than a replacement OEM shield, I don't know of any other replacements available.

I can see where cutting is no problem, but how do you bend it?

I have some ideas on lowers but not sure of the bending.

to bend it use heat.
take your stock shield and the new one and put then together and wrap a bungie cord around them and stick them in the oven at 175* and when the new takes the shape of the old one pull em out and let em cool naturally

I recommend the clearview, lots of options, mine is 4 inches under stock heigth and has a vent installed.  No hole around the headlight either.  Here's a pic.  so clear you can't even see it.  Hoser

I'm starting to have to jump into this pool. I'm de-laminating.
Its not too bad till you point her into the sun. I like the stock height. Maybe even a little higher.
I do like the Lexan idea and could cut my own vent. That 's probably worth a try.

I gotta say, I'm not impressed with the Honda shield. It seems very thin and "rattley" to me as compared to my Rifle shield. The more aerodynamic shape is nice though.

When I priced the factory windshield for $300.00 I also asked for a price for the mounting hardware. $800.00, So the total price for the windshield and mounting hardware was $1100.00
