Good for her that it worked out.  Sometimes you just have to do what you have to do.  I was half expecting the last sentence to read........"It is not legal to steal the bike back even though its yours and she was charged"...........Thank goodness that wasnt the ending and all is well........

A very macho gal. Glad all went well. On the direct replys to the story seemed a lot of L E Os ain't interested in bicycle recovery if what the replys state is true!! The only thing that would've made a better ending was if that sob got the crap kicked out of him for stealing the bike in the first place!
