Cheaha - In the house

[Super Santa]

Early Bird is in the house.  On the road a full week and clocked 2,011.6 miles.  All of it with wonderful friends.

Enjoyed my first Cheaha.  Great meeting new friends and putting faces with names I already knew.

Lyn-Del, Wizard and I left out yesterday and slogged it out in rain most of the day.  By the time we stopped last evening, we were wet, cold, shivering, tired and hungry.  Time for a hot shower/tub and a warm bed.

Today was much better with the majority of the day NOT raining, although we delayed starting out for an hour because of a thunderstorm passing over our motel.  Ended up back in Houston area after dark but safe and souind.

Can't wait until next year.
