Now that I took off my Tank Badges , I'm having a little trouble getting that old dried up glue left behind off ... I have tried the Goo-Be-Gone and it did not much do anything , but soak the old glue ... any suggestions , BECAUSE I have some pinstriping underneath where the badges were and I don't want to mess up my pinstriping if at all possible ... Thanks the Geezer :crazy2:

Grandpot

Charcoal Lighter fluid works well on glue and road tar without damaging the paint.

Tundra

Spray it and let it soak in WD-40, heat it with a heatgun/blowdryer, re-spray with WD-40. Rub it off with your fingers
If you can't be a good example: be a WARNING!!

friend that does vinyl work says common kitchen vegetable oil works for taking the sticky glue off. I have never used it myself, but it is easier on stuff than the other chemicals listed.

Mineral Spirits or Go-Jo hand cream which has MS in it..if using the Go-Jo just put it on and let it soak in.
Make sure you get the original and not the one with pumice in it.

Hey Macdoesit , I took the Tank Badge off BECAUSE I want to have the words Valkyrie painted on instead because TO ME ITS LOOKS MUCH BETTER , instead of having that cheap metal ... Thanks the Geezer :crazy2:
