Did you guys get a Dennis Kirk catalog?  I got one in the mail the other day and this thing is HUGE!!  It’s actually kind of nice having it, there’s things I saw that I hadn’t see before, plus I don’t get to go to cycle shows (few and far in between around here).  I’ll be going on the night shift here in a few weeks, I’ll have some shopping to do!!  (don’t tell the wife)

I used to get the Harley and Metric catalogs from both Dennis Kirk and J & P cycles every year when I was putting things together.    Just go to their websites, they're free on the start pages.  They go in the reading room, next to the throne.

I'm stuck in Tuscaloosa for the weekend, but I called my girlfriend back at home and she said I had gotten a huge catalog in the mail....I asked "Dennis Kirk"?  She said it was and how did I know? Grin

Odd though, I have some D/K catalogs on cd, did they stop doing that and go back to paper? It's been a while since I've gotten one. Probably on the list again due to ordering a sled catalog from them.

Wow... I just got mine too.  2012, Green Dennis Kirk Catalog.  I don't quite understand why.  You would think that most of everything would be on their website.  It would have been a helluva lot cheaper to send a small fold out with the website info all over it and some of their best sellers than to send a 1 1/4" catalog that not only cost a fortune... but expensive to mail... uglystupid2  Can't hide money, or the waste of it... It is easier to read the catalog on the throne than using the laptop.

websites are great for things you NEED but flipping through a catalog, a little at a time, will make you WANT things you'd never thought of before.

Yepper I used to tell the wife, when asked why I browsed thru mi sc tools and such. That they may have things I did not know I needed or wanted. Many of my purchases come from such endeavors, as I am amazed by new tools for old jobs. And I know many here buy "Bling" the same way. How can you know you might want something without knowing it exists? Not counting replacement parts.....Although many parts change in both material and application, I have found.
