That would be the USS Ronald Reagan (CVN 76).  I've gotten to tour her twice, and have been on board for the reception welcoming the new US ambassador to Singapore.  These aircraft carriers are truly amazing, as are the men and women that make it all happen.

    I served onboard the Theodore Roosevelt during the 1st Gulf War and retired while serving onboard the Nimitz.   Carrier duty was probably the best duty I had my entire career ..... and I didn't know it til after my first carrier.

Enjoyed my time aboard the U.S.S.Yorktown C V S 10. We did not have that type of system on her 1964-1966. As those who served on them are aware-carrier life is different. Would not trade the experience for anything i've ever done in my life. To all those still serving our nation-whether on sea or land-thank you. RIDE SAFE.

My ship doesn't have it's own cool website, but it is still tied up to a pier in Washington as a museum.  I was aboard from '75-'79.

3fan4life-the one and the same. The entire flight deck used to be all wood on her. I was with airantisubron-23 attached to cag-55 aboard U S S Yorktown C V S-10. When the flight deck is in full swing-lauch and recovery-it be a whole nother world up there. If there be a more dangerous work enviorment than a flight deck i'm not aware of it. I took my family to patriots point 6 or 7 years ago. Brought back a lot of memories. RIDE SAFE.

We rode down to Myrtle Beach a couple years ago in Jan. On one of our day rides we rode down to Patriots Point Naval & Maritime Museum in Mount Pleasant. They told us unless funds become available that the USS Yorktown will start taking on a major amount of water in a few years from lack of maintence...Its already leaking
