Turn Down Exhaust tips

I have a 99 Interstate and I want to replace tips with turn downs.

The slash cuts that are on there now are 15" long by 3.75" ID.

Any sources for turn downs with this ID and at least this long........a little longer is OK.

Many turn-downs (if turned down and not out), will drag badly in steep turns, or departing aprons/ramps (to parking lots, driveways, gas stations, etc) while making a turn.  Moreso if you run lower shocks.  Careful.  

As opposed to slash cuts, turned down.

EDIT:  Are you talking OE exhaust, because the ID 18" tips are 4", not 3.75" (Jardines?).

Thanks F6.....I think there 4.0" OD tips will fit and will look badazz.
I had the V&H classic turndowns on my FLH and yes they did scrape on tight turns with the wife on back but I don't mind..........

FYI stacks - and all tubing similar to truck stacks that I know of - the dia measurement is of the OD.  Wall thickness is typically .065" - of course subtract 0.13 to get the ID.  Fortunately, the OD of the inner muffler can of the OEM exhaust is very close to 3.87", so the stacks will fit as a press-fit after you grind off the protruding two spot welds (that secure the inner baffles) and the locator clip - a useless hunk of metal that is apparently added because the engineers didn't trust the assembly guys to put the strap-on cover in the right place.  (I have ground off the welds holding that clip on since day one in 1999, even for glasspack jobs that weren't getting stacks.  So their exhaust system then was already prepped for installing stacks.)  Add a bit of lube and use a heavy hammer and appropriately shaped hunk of wood, and the stacks will go on a bit easier.  I use a 4X4 for Howitzers and a 3" fence post for miters and turnouts.  Wipe the can down with WD40 - the heat will burn it off right away - then the stacks will seize on and you won't need to tack weld them - or remove them without cutting down their side so the metal will relax.  All of this is for full length stacks.  Of course if you're just going to bolt them on to replace the OEM tips, then the grinding and the lube are superfluous.

Right buy the 4" OD tips subratct 2X the wall thickness and you're just the right size. 3.875"

After all this talk I bought the 18" straights.

Now the question is "to drill or not to drill"???????

I like loud but not obnoxious loud.

You chose wisely my son.     I have those on both my bikes.

I'd just trim the piggies first, put on the cans, and see how you like it before drilling out baffles.  Go a little at a time.  There's more nose behind than in the drivers seat.  The drone from drilling can be pretty intrusive (esp if you wear a full face helmet) on longer rides (esp the superslab).  And backseaters get it a bit louder than a driver (and if mamma ain't happy ..............).

Do consider one thing, turndowns will blow LOTS of dust around when you are on a dusty road or parking area. If you are a clean-nik or the others riding around you are clean-niks you will not be their favorite person. Been there , seen that.

I would agree with the posts above......take it one step at a time.   Cut the piggies and see how it is and then if you think you want more drill the baffles.

My '01 came with truck stacks (either mark-t's or dragon packs) with the glasspacks inside and I can say that they sound great around town but highway you DO get some drone.  The drone isn't terrible but when the passenger says "it's a bit loud back here" but I can still hear the radio ok.....guess that's not to bad.

I like it when HD's blow dust. Always thought that was cool.
