I'm thinking the surviveability possibilities are very slim.
Hug your family every day and tell those you love that you do.
Aot of guys with burn marks, gnarly scars and funny twitches ask why I spend so much on safety gear

you never know when your time is up,,,..... I know we all take every day for granted but when you see something like this, it really is a reality check. Cherish every day and try to treat it as if it was your last!

I don't know anything about it, my cousin in Dallas sent the video to me......evidently someone had a camera rollling inside their vehicle to get that on tape.

yeah, i've seen that.  having a rear wheel drive vehicle is the worst thing on the snow, the only thing that would have changed the situation is if the person would have just slowed down.  i'm sure that for what ever reason they needed to pass the white truck, wasn't a good one.

the other thing is if you only have rear wheel drive, slow down!!

Aint nothing any more dangerous than a Texan driving in ice and snow......The few times I've been in Northern NM and in Colorado snow skiing and we rent a car I'm a nervous wreck.....especially when in a hilly area.   Got caught in a blizzard condition coming back from snow skiing to Denver.....I didn't have a clue how drive in that condition.  Luckily I had rented a 4 wheel drive blazer .   That helped a lot.  Just stayed in my hyway ruts and inched along.  Don't know if I could ever get used to living in that harsh a climate.

i have a four wheel drive truck, and i love driving in lousy conditions.  i don't get nervious one bit, now my wife on the other hand needs to be blind folded, and sidated!!  but, i will drive in control and with in my ability.  the worst thing in bad weather is not being able to see ahead of your speed.

well, hey, it's spring time!!  won't have those roads for another 6 months!!  (except for here in wisconsin, we could be looking at 6 inches of snow ANYTIME!!)

Love the lousy roads too! just prefer them when I'm breaking trail, not rail riding is some other idiots ruts. I've seen cars rail riding and follow the other isiots ruts right into the back of the car that ran into the ditch. I'll stick to the snowy crap covered lane, atleast i've got a chance at traction there with the mud tires.
Yea though I ride through the valley of the Shadow of Death I shall fear no evil. For I ride the Baddest Mother F$#^er In that valley!

I found that driving with two on the shoulder is the best in that stuff, alot of times the tracks get packed and icy and two in the fresh stuff will keep you straight. Sometimes I would take the roads with gravel shoulders to a call, the gravel would not ice up as bad. Had to drive in all that stuff and clean up the idiots that did not know when to stay home. Boss did not see it my way when I told him every idiot in the ditch should get a ticket for speeding, driving to fast for conditions. It was dangerous moving traffic over for the tow trucks that had to get them out.
