years.....I was riding back from meeting Scooter and Violet for supper and stopped at a gas station near home to top the tank off when it happened.......I had just passed 3 teenagers standing outside the door of the station and was just getting off the bike to fill her back up when I hear a swooshing noise over my right shoulder....good thing I'm not "trigger happy" because it was one of the young teenagers rolling up on me very fast on a skate board to tell me that I had the most awesome, "Swag???" bike he's ever seen.....and that he loved the green lights(LED's).....

The other guy and girl were right behind him admiring the bike.....he looked at the back seat and said it looked plenty big enough to pick up some "Chicks" over in town.......and the girl commented on my Dragon painted on the front fender and the "cool" green lights behind the radiator cover.....I told her that "Dragon" was just one of the nicknames for these bikes...... :cooldude:.......

Of course, they looked to be maybe 16-17 at the oldest, so honestly, they haven't seen many bikes.......and all I did was wash a little dust off of her before I went to eat....... :cooldude: :cooldude:

They are cool looking bikes, attract a lot of attention, even if most people don't know who they are.

If you are riding  and it is a must that you keep your eyes on the road, you are riding too fast.

Tell me Stanley.  Are the chicks attracted to you because of  your magnetic personality or should we give most of the credit to your great lookin' Valkyrie?  ;D

Seriously, you've got a winner there and in my favorite color, green.   I always enjoyed the attention that I got from riding my Valk and it was black.  The poor ole Vstrom doesn't get a glance.   It's the ugliest bike that I've ever owned.  Matches my looks.

Stanley,

You're right of course about the fat girl getting a lot of attention. I just came back from a quick trip to Terre Haute, IN. My gorgeous green lady gets a lot of admiring looks and thumbs up as well.

All the best,

Mark

Last weekend when I met up with Jeremy in Periopolis, Pa, I was riding my 99 IS, Pittsburgh edition (black with Steeler emblems on the fairing and tank).  My BIL Vern was riding his 1800 VTX.  When we stopped for gas, an old dude and his adult son came over to admire/question me about the bike.  They ooh'd and aaah'd for a good 10 minutes while I filled up.  After they left as we were gearing up to leave, Vern says,"does that happen everywhere you go?", I said, "Pretty much."

I've never been mobbed by a bunch of ladies like my hero Steamer though!
