CB Hookup for Valkyrie

Right after I bought my 2nd Interstate 5 years ago, I removed the CB and sold it.  Now the wife and buddies are harassing me into adding one, so I bought one from a guy that had a 99 standard.  It won't work because it's the wrong type/model.  Problem is when we hooked up the cable under the left faring, the volume control on the radio would no longer work.  And the wires in the cable are color coded differently etc; so no go. Since it has been 5 years, I cannot remember how I removed the CB from the Interstate.  (can barely remember where I parked last)

Here's the question:  How does the CB connect to the radio?  There are two cables with weather protectors that are 6-8" long coming out of the radio under the seat.  Since there is a similar hookup on the handle bars for the driver headset, does one of these connect to a CB?  Does anyone have a picture of the Valkyrie Interstate CB showing how it connects to/through the radio?  None of the factory manuals show it since it was an after market add on by Honda.
