Passenger foot peg extenders

I did a search and came up empty handed for threads on this topic.

WaynesvilleCycleCenter.com stated the peg extenders were on hand, I ordered, waited a week, and nothing heard back. Checked my bank accounts and nothing was debited. I called them to be told they were no longer carrying them at all and that their website editors were doing a poor job on keeping it up.

So, that being said, other than making them myself, is there another source for passenger foot peg extenders for the 1999 Standard?

Thank you in advance...

Do you want to lower them, widen them, or move them to the front for more leg room. I moved the  5' 10" wifes forward 4" and lowered them  about an inch with some kury footpegs and dog bone existentions. I'll try and find them on the kury site and get the number.

I used the kury 8016 longhorns and the Iso pegs that matched my highway pegs. The longhorns come with a cover piece for the clamps.I didn't by the clamps tho. I removed stock pegs and drilled the hole to 1/2  Then I took the cover pieces and  and stacked a couple of washers behind them to fill in the void. Ran the bolt from the inside got the ex. where I wanted them and tighten and lock-tighted the bolt install the footpegs and it has worked very well for over 4 yrs now.

I have a set of the Waynesville extenders and my wife likes them a lot.  I bought them used from a guy.  I went to the website and it says they are back in stock.

Here is the site where I got mine and work great,  I originally got them for my 96 honda magna and when I got my valk had to drill larger hole for them to work but no problem. http://www.cycle-istic.com/PegExtenders.html

Waynesville no longer carries the pegs, despite what the website says. I ordered a set because teh site said they were available again. A week later they emailed me and told me the web master is a very poor one and they do not intend to carry the extenders for the Hondas any longer.

Cycl-istiC states "to the best of my knowledge ours will fit the Valkyrie standard..." and they were designed to fit the VTX1800 with the over under 2-2 exhaust. He went on to state they will NOT fit the VTX1800 with the larger 2-1 exhaust because teh pegs are closer to the exhaust.

My passenger is on ly 5'4".... So I am working with Hoser on what he has for sale at the moment... He has a Kury solution.

May I ask what the measurement of teh actual drop is after mounting the pegs on them, just out of curiosity?

See PM... I think I asked also what the drop measurement is on the set you have for sale. I like the looks better than the Cycle-istiC.

The drop is about 2 1/2" and 1" more forward and are VTX foot pegs which my wife prefers her choice she is the one using them.
