I got tired of waiting so i called the painter and told him i was picking up my bags painted or not. I think nine weeks was long enough for a job he said would be done in three days. the bags were in primer but were not in any way ready to paint. they need a lot more work. I did mount them up to see how they would look. Remember these are a very old set of bags. I also had to switch sides of how they were mounted from the factory. With the bump out they have i could not get them close enough to the bike. But i think they look ok. The fat lady now has hips.

since you had to switch their left to right sides it gives it an interesting wave to the outer edge of the bag. That will look good when its all painted up.
