Need some suggestions

On some headphones. When I need navigation or some tunes, I'll put my headphones on with the ear buds that fit deep in my ear canal and plug into my phone. My problem is I can barely hear it for the wind noise. Now I got some BIG headphones for the house but I  would look a little goofy going down the road with them on!

So my question is: Do they make a good set of headphones that barley covers my ear, not looking  guady and keeps the wind out?

Just guessing here but, it appears you don't ride with those earplugs under a skid plate (brain bucket)?   I have only one ear piece that will link to my GPS or my phone and can hear it very well and I've got over 50% hearing loss in my upper hearing range.  (Too much flying helicopters without good hearing protection.  My fault.)

I've done a lot of traveling with ear buds. I've found that they tend to fall out of your ear under a helmet. Using a helmet liner keeps them in. I also have a pair that loops over the ear which also works. One of my pair has noise canceling which is great but cancels almost all of the road noise.
Buy quality: Two of my units are $100 each.

Yep you guessed right, no brain bucket unless I'm traveling out of state, expect storms, or cold weather.   That's why I'm hoping to find one that seals good and not to bulky.

The kind that loops over the ear is what I need. I see your experience is with a helmet.What  I have works good with a helmet which i got at radio shack. They fit deep in your ear canal like an ear plug but air still gets in. What brand/model do you have?

The X1 model.  They fit inside the ear with custom molded earpieces that seal out wind noise, but still allow sounds like horns etc. to be heard, unless you have the volume really cranked.  No helmet or doo rag needed to keep them in either.

V-Moda - earbuds that fit in the ear canal.  Lotsa bass.  I listen to my Iphone music without a helmet . .  NOoooo problem.  AND, I run Cobra 6x6 exhaust.


There are a lot of good earbuds out there that cost under $150.

Thanks guys I'll check em out. BnB I'm running the Cobras 6x6 w/o baffles too. I never had a problem with the pipes, it was the wind that made it hard to hear.
