I searched and couldnt find this...
What is the carrying capacity of the various models?
Rider, passenger, accessories.
Also, How much weight are your bikes carrying?
I ask this because I am a big guy, 6'4" 320 lbs, and am looking forward to riding 2 up with my wife.
Thanks in advance.

I weigh about 315 and my wife weighs.....less than me. We also carry some camping gear as well as normal luggage. This is a 98 Tourer with heavy duty rear shocks. :-X
I ride a motorcycle because nothing transports me as quickly from where I am to who I am.

You never mention the womens weights... unless ya wanna get stabbed. Some DO ride behind the guys and have easy access to them. ;D

Standard Valkyrie:

Wet weight: 739 lb
GVWR: 1133 lb

So the carrying capacity OFFICIALLY is 394 pounds (GVWR minus Wet Weight)

Valkyrie Tourer:

Wet weight: 775 lb.
GVWR: 1166 lb.

Officially 391 for a Tourer

Valkyrie Interstate:

Wet weight: 851 lb 57% rear wheel
GVWR: 1252 lb

Officially 401 for the Interstate

Of course, I've had mine WAAAAAAY over that many many many times, but I've got stiffer shocks front and rear too...

Never ask a geek 'Why?',just nod your head and slowly back away...
