Anybody dealt with Stockers Motorcycle Salvage of Chula Vista (San Diego)

I ordered some parts from them I need for a customer order - and will need more, having lost my previous source which was Pinwall.  They are overdue.  So I googled reviews on them.  REALLY BAD reviews.  Most reviews had been provided thru citysearch, and repeated on various sites.  Of 27 reviews, most were horrid. And a few glowing ones - which are reported by one reviewer as bogus - and appear to be, many with the same posting date, and similar writing style.  Plus the fact (I learned in business school, and have seen myself )  that folks EXPECT to be treated well - so 90% who are unhappy will tell others, while only a small % will report good experiences.  And this fact is increased even more, since the advent of the computer age. (I do everything I can to keep folks on the good side of the curve.) I wish I had checked reviews on this outfit before I ordered from them.   The http://sandiego.bbb.org/ site is not responding.

I pray and hope that you have NOT been burned-taken-bamboozled-or otherwise taken advantage of. If that turns out to be the case i hope someone doodoos in their mess kit. RIDE SAFE.

yes and they suck. they dont know the bike parts. they sent me the wrong tank for my vtx 1800 three times. saying it was an 1800 tank retro style and it was off a 1300. do not i rfepeat do not use them. they only want your money and will screw you to get it....... contest it through the credit card company to get your money back....

yes, I have ordered from them on three separate occasions.  THe first two orders were mainly electrical parts to repair a hotwire issue. They came thru just fine and given the number of parts, the price was fair.  The last order was a seat, which has yet to arrive. It has been about two weeks and I am being told it is being shipped from a different supplier and assured it will be shipped asap.  So if your not in a rush .....
