Great Weekend Ride

Left early Fridat morning for the U.P., Hancock, MI to be exact. Got back Sunday evening with about 1000 miles for the round trip. The big girl ran perfectly. I even took my mom, 78 years young for about an 80 mile ride. It was her first time on a motorcycle for her since she was about 16. At that time she rode from Calumet, MI to Duluth, MN on the back of my grandfather's old Indian. She really did enjoy herself and talked about going to the Smoky Mountains next!

Sounds like you both had a lot of fun. As for the Smokies --- there is Joe's Fall Color Ride the 3rd weekend in October.

ChromeDome, looks like you're just south of me and DaPrez is just north of me. We need to get together for a 40 miles west of Chicago ride or something.
