A guy down the road from me rebuilds trailers like that. He usualy has 4 or 5 at his place at anyone time.

Depends, how much other crap do you have laying around your yard that the misses bitches about already?  You may end up living in it if not careful - 

Check for leaks and make sure the caulking all around is in good shape and no water spots anywhere inside.  Can't buy much for 400 bucks.  I bought a 1993 pop up camper about 7 years ago for 1350 and recently sold it for 1450.  It needed a good cleaning and new caulk all around but was in decent shape for the age.  Can't really go wrong for 400 bucks, fix it up if not going to use it, and make 300-400 bucks on the deal if you got the room to store it.

Those scamps don't go cheap. If it is one and shell is intact, I'd grab it.

If it is a scamp, they actually are worth more than that if the shell is in good shape.  they are kind of like airstreams, never die.  

For 400 bucks you can make a heck of a portable man cave, and if you are brave pull it behind the Valk...(takes pics if you do)  LOL

$400 is cheap!!!  We bought a pop up for $500, then sold it for the same amount ten years latter!!!

Had some good rain outtings with that pop up!  Always rains when we go camping.
