Miss at wide open throttle

Have a miss a w o t  between 3000 4000 rpm
doesn't miss at 3000 and 4000 with 3/4 throttle open, idles great 
K&N ,pilots at 2.25

When I bought my 2000 standard, it had Cobra pipes on it. It would stumble and sputter like that beween 3-4000 rpm.PO never rejetted the carbs. Changed the jets,also found a couple of broken springs,re-synced the carbs and all is well. Vacuum leaks and leaks from the intakes can also cause similar symptoms.
