I need a set of Interstate rear pads and have access to a set of standard/tourer rear pads.  I do not want to be down a week waiting for pads to arrive and wonder if I can use the others.  The part numbers are different, but are the pads really different?  I have heard that the only difference is thickness of pads. The pads are an hour ride away and don not want to waste trip if unusable.  Thanks for any info.
Do unto others as you would have them do unto you.

Yes. They interchange.

Now that Dave's question is answered...

Interstate rear calipers differ from Tourer/Std rear calipers in that they
have smaller diameter pistons.

I think all rear caliper mounting plates are the same...

Could you use an Interstate rear caliper on a Tourer/Std?
