At the very short side of 59 years old.....

I still love to listen to rock and roll (long live Led Zeppelin  :cooldude:).

I still love hot rods and motorcycles.

I still love to look at pretty women.

Is something wrong with me?     :coolsmiley:
I can't help about the shape I'm in
I can't sing, I ain't pretty and my legs are thin
But don't ask me what I think of you
I might not give the answer that you want me to

Heck,, your still a youngster..  You've got a ways to go yet.. I still like everything I used to,, just takes longer to do them now,, thats all.. JoAnn doesn't mind me looking at the pretty girls either,, she knows I can't catch 'em or probably wouldn't know what to do if I did..

thewoodman

Nothing wrong at all. Proves that you're still breathing.

The first step in getting somewhere is deciding that you are not going to stay where you are.

Its not so much a matter of growing up.
Its more learning how to behave around adults.
Youre normal. Go for a ride with Led Zeppelin cranked and look at the pretty girls.

As I told my spousal unit, when I quit looking and doing what I do, go ahead and bury me, I've been dead for at least three days.

Somebody (a younger person) said something the other day about my music choices.  I responded by saying something like....what I'm I supposed to listen to at my age, Lawrence Welk?  They didn't know who Lawrence Welk was either.     :uglystupid2:

Well, I have 15 yrs. on you and see nothing out of place with what you said. Maybe the R & R I listened to predates yours a bit, but I still like much of the era you speak of. Once had my wife pinch me in a restaurant, asked why, said she was checking to see if I was still alive. She then pointed out a lovely young thing I had ignored when she walked by. Told my wife "very nice, she's almost as old as my oldest grandaughter."   ;D

John.  My older brother (passed a few years ago) was 11 years my senior.  I grew up listening to his Chuck Berry, Elvis, Everly Brothers, Little Richard and more 45's when I was just a wee little tot.  Been hooked on Rock & Roll ever since.

btw......does my heart good to see you back and posting again.  Glad you're back.   :cooldude:
