Burden Kansas Lunch Ride

The Kansas Riders are getting together at the 160 Cafe in Burden, Kansas on August 18th @11:30 if anyone is in the area, or wants to join us feel free to come on out. Burden is a small town southeast of Wichita. Don't blink you might miss it. The 160 Cafe is a Mom and Pop operation, both are in thier eighties  and still cooking strong. Saturday's they run a Chicken Fried Steak special that will be hard to beat anywhere! The CFS is so big it has it's own plate and you have no problem finding the beef!  A second plate brings you real homemade potatoes and gravy , veggies, and a roll. Add a salad bar and a drink and you have one heck of a deal for around $8, now buy a piece of homemade pie and you might have a bill of $10 or $11. This is a true Daniel Meyers kind of place!  Hope to see you all there.

Lordy, lordy.  I'm bumping this just cause I can and, I've been there.  Long ago but, I well remember stopping in there way back when and having a meal.  Darn sure wish I could come back and catch this ride in.     Enjoy and please remember those of us that can't make it.
