Is the Valk really 8' long ??

I came across this old 1997 promotional add for the Valk that I thought was pretty neat. Claims the bike is 8' long, kinda caught me by surprise. I think I'll have to run a tape on it tomorrow just for the heck of it. Wow, go big or go home, I guess. ;D

Pretty sure thats a very close dimension, Mine might a bit longer :2funny:,,,, I moved the trunk on my I/S back about 1.125" & I have the rail around the front end also. :cooldude:

It's only eight feet long if you measure it..if you don't it might be 9 ft long. Depends on how long you tell the story. ;D

Yep, the Valk is 8 feet long...untill you go and try to put one in an 8 foot trailer...then it's longer.   :)

My truck will haul 8' plywood w/tailgate up. Can't shut tailgate with stock Valkyrie standard. More than 8'.

When I first got mine, I winter stored it in a 5'x10' rental unit. It just fit.

you can close the gate on the truck if you cinch the bike down first,in my f25 anyways

My Interstate is exactly 104.75" from the front of the front tire to the tail lights on the trunk.

That was the Missouri River on it's annual rampage closing KS highway 8.  I turned around there, no skier available that day.  ;D Hoser
